Did you know...

Many therapists are afraid of raising documentation concerns, sometimes because of shaming from a past supervisor, causing them to struggle and feel like they can't ask for help.

Supervisors, often lacking training, struggle to support new clinicians. This is especially challenging for those with natural documentation skills, as they may not grasp that this is a common difficulty.

Stress-Free Documentation for Clinical Supervisors helps supervisors learn to better support and empower their supervisees.

I've been in your shoes...

...and theirs too!

I'm Dr. Maelisa McCaffrey and I’ve worked as a clinical supervisor, a program manager, and have invested in my own management training aside from my clinical training and teaching expertise.

I understand the nuances of managing people and caring for them, while also needing to consider your budget and practice reputation.

I also have ADHD and know what it’s like to be that clinician who can’t manage their time well and needs some extra help.

Here's what you'll learn to improve your
supervision and teaching skills:

Common Question:
Can I purchase one or two lessons instead of the whole course?

No, this course is meant to be completed in a sequential order. The topics build upon one another. My experience has also shown me that these topics are ALL important for most clinical supervisors, so they are included as a comprehensive group rather than solo trainings.

Other common questions:

Do I need Stress Free Documentation for Clinicians, too?

Perhaps… this course focuses solely on supervision aspects of documentation and does not go into topics such as how to write a case note, how to create goals for treatment plans, etc. If you want specific training on what to include in notes, how to write treatment plans, and access to various templates, you may want to purchase both courses.

Do you provide examples in this course?

Yes, there are examples of supervision notes, reviews, and feedback. These include some sample case notes so you can see how to review and provide feedback, but there are not as many client note examples as provided in Stress Free Documentation for Mental Health Clinicians.

Do you offer CE credit?

While it is something we are working on, we do not offer CE credit at this time.
