I'm Dr. Maelisa McCaffrey and I’ve worked as a clinical supervisor, a program manager, and have invested in my own management training aside from my clinical training and teaching expertise.
I understand the nuances of managing people and caring for them, while also needing to consider your budget and practice reputation.
I also have ADHD and know what it’s like to be that clinician who can’t manage their time well and needs some extra help.
Here's what you'll learn with Stress-Free Documentation:
Focus your first sessions on building rapport and connecting with your client, while meeting ethical obligations and covering yourself.
Keep your clients protected, reduce audit risk, and save hours writing copious notes.
Make treatment planning a clinical conversation you enjoy, rather than a focus on filling out a form.
Master the art of writing progress notes that make you feel confident no matter who sees them.
Structure your time and learn efficiency tips to manage documentation easier, daily, and with improved quality.
Lifetime access to all GND (Get Notes Done) Days.

Maelisa, I’m incredibly grateful to you for creating this course. How I think about documentation has fundamentally changed since knowing you and working on this course (and I haven’t even gotten all the way through it yet!), making my documentation easier both to do and to teach to my supervisee.

Common Question:
Can I just purchase one or two lessons, or sample files?
No, but there is a good reason for this. Examples can be helpful, but our goal is to teach you how to think about documentation so you can make decisions easily and confidently. Also, so many aspects of documentation are intertwined, there are likely other elements to consider that are not always obvious and straightforward. With the full course, you get everything you need to answer your questions.
Other common questions:
How is the Stress-Free Documentation course different from the Paperwork Packet?
While the course has some sample notes and example files, it does not have all the templates provided in the Paperwork Packet (specifically, the intake forms).
If you already have a packet you use and feel like it works fairly well, then Stress Free Documentation should help you decide if there are any tweaks you need to make.
However, if you don't really have any policies or procedures set up and the task of creating your private practice paperwork feels overwhelming, the Paperwork Packet may be a better fit (or a good compliment) so you can simply copy and paste what you need.
Do you offer CE credit?
While it is something we are working on, we do not offer CE credit at this time.
